Cocoa Snack Bites

Oil free and full of fiber!

Ingredients

1/2 cup nut butter
1/3 cup agave nectar or maple syrup

1 cup oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup bran (I use roughly equal parts oat and wheat bran)
1/2 cup add-ins: dried cranberries, raisins, chocolate chips, walnut bits
Up to 1/4 cup of water, as needed

Warm and melt the nut butter and syrup in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Add water until gooey and holding together. Chill 30-60 minutes until roll-able. Using about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture and form into 12 balls or patties. These keep best stored in the fridge, but you can leave them out all day if you are packing them for a snack at work or whatever.
