Brett: The recipe uses no oil.  It uses a banana instead (to provide moistness).  Most people don't detect the banana.  So far, only cousin Lisa has made mention of the banana taste.

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe, to very ripe, banana
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups soymilk
