Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups soymilk (warmed)
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 TBS. yeast
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 4 cups white flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions
- Using a whisk, mix the together:
- warmed soymilk (2 1/4 cups)
- oil (1/4 cup)
- sugar(1/4 cup)
- yeast((2 TBS.)
- Whisk in the whole wheat flour (2 cups).
- This is a "sponge". Let it rest for 15 minutes (or so).
- Add the salt (1 tsp.) with a whisk.
- Add the white flour (4 cups) with a wooden spoon.
- Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes.
- Shape the rolls and place on a sprayed cookie sheet.
- Let rise for about 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 375o.
- Bake for about 20 minutes.
- Remove and cool on a rack.
